Wylie Gustin

DMD

Dr. Gustin was born in Savannah and grew up on Tybee Island, where he spent much of his youth fishing and exploring the local waterways. He attended Armstrong Atlantic University and later transferred to the University of Georgia where he graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Biology. After college, he attended dental school at the Medical College of Georgia (now the Dental College of Georgia). Immediately upon completion of his general dental training, he entered periodontics residency at the Medical College of Georgia.

After practicing periodontics for several years, Dr. Gustin was afforded with the opportunity to return to the Dental College of Georgia for further training in endodontics. Immediately following completion of residency, Dr. Gustin decided to make his dream of a dual specialty practice a reality and opened Live Oak Endodontics, which allowed him to combine his passions for providing pain relief and comfortable dental care while helping patients save their teeth. He most enjoys hearing patients express surprise at how quick and painless a dreaded dental procedure was.

When his schedule allows, Dr. Gustin enjoys traveling, boating, fishing, bird hunting, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs. He is happy to call Savannah home and hopes to never be too far from the water.
